Barbecue lovers will want to fire up the grill once they get a whiff of the mouthwatering and original recipes featured in Arthur Aguirre’s America’s Best Barbecue.
We really like this cookbook for a lot of reasons. It’s easy to read, and it’s comes straight from Arthur Aguirre treasure trove of recipes and tips. You know how protective these guys are and their BBQ secrets! All the delicious recipes you have wanted to try are at your fingertips and all is reveled in this great book. The book is going to get tons of use this summer on my deck. I simply can’t wait for the Polar Vortex of the Northeast to stop so I can get my grill out.
(We know what makes or breaks a rack of ribs!) So fire up the grill, and be sure to make extra: once that smoke starts wafting across the neighbor’s yard, you’re going to have to share.
Barbecue Contests are Serious Business
Major competitions and festivals now take place in twenty-eight states, and there are twenty BBQ associations and societies across the country committed to encouraging the art of smoking and grilling meat. While thousands of chefs compete for the best ribs or brisket, low-key backyard BBQ competitions are springing up all over the country, offering amateur smokers the chance to become the neighborhood BBQ king or queen.
