Hood® Brand Cottage Cheese Review
Are you a cottage cheese eater like me? I LOVE it.
I have no idea why, but I do. I think I remember my Oma happily eating it everyday as a kid. She would be thrilled to fly to my parents’ Rockport home for 6 week visits from Berlin. One of the first things we would do is purchase Hood cottage cheese!
These were always coveted summer-time visits, so she would head out into the garden and mix it with fresh chives. It was a ritual of sorts and to this day, I find myself always mixing in garden favorites into my cottage cheese…well, Hood must’ve read my mind because they have created a new product even my Oma would be proud of!
Hood® has outdone themselves with creating some really delicious new flavors you will love. Not only is it delicious, but so healthy too. Be sure to check out our giveaway of a few free coupons to try it out yourself on Facebook.

Delicious Health Benefits!
Hood Cottage Cheese is an important part of a healthy lifestyle. The new flavors, Cucumber and Dill and Garden Vegetables, contain 13 grams of protein per serving (26% of the recommended daily value), and are a good source of calcium.
Food protein supplies amino acids, which your body uses to make cells, tissues, and other compounds that keep you alive and feeling energetic. The USDA’s MyPlate nutrition recommendations (ChooseMyPlate.gov) suggests allotting about one-quarter of your plate for protein-rich foods, such as lean meat, poultry, seafood, and cottage cheese at every meal. In addition, MyPlate recommends a serving of dairy, also a source of protein, at each meal.
Where to find it!
Hood Cottage Cheese is available at grocery stores throughout the New England region.
