S.O.S. Non-Scratch Scrubbers
Kitchen confession – we don’t own a dishwasher. Well technically, I am the dishwasher but we don’t have a dishwashing machine. All our dishes are done by hand and depending on who cooked what that night there may very well be some caked on, baked on and even burnt on pots and pan messes.
So when we were asked to try the new S.O.S. Non-Scratch Scrubbers we were happy to put them to the test in our kitchen. We were provided with samples of the new S.O.S. Non-Scratch Scrubbers to facilitate this review, all the opinions expressed are our own.
Testing
Our testing of the S.O.S. Non-Scratch Scrubbers was very technical (LOL):
- I selected my favorite blue 8×8 baking pan that had baked on gunk (technical term) on the handles (see above photo). Regular washing hadn’t make a dent in the baked on mess.
- Opened the bag of S.O.S. Non-Scratch Scrubbers and took one out.
- Wet the scrubber with water
- Started scrubbing
- Continued scrubbing
- Stopped scrubbing (see below)
- It worked!
Tuff on Baked On Messes
These scrubbers are handy, gentle on my hands and made of polypropylene fibers instead of the steel wool found in traditional S.O.S. pads – no rusting, no scratching. I also like that I could use them multiple times.
Each scrubber is loaded with the same S.O.S. soap that we know and love – and has been in use for almost 100 years.
Not Just for the Kitchen
We’ll be using these little magic blue scrubbers on the grill, the oven, the outdoor furniture and the bathroom fixtures, just to name a few places – I’m sure you will think of more.
