Bonnie and I are always looking for special ideas for Mother’s Day and this is going to be one of several we select for our readers.  We are all about great food and anywhere near the water.  Christine is a big Cape Cod fan and spends much of her summers in Truro.

Sea Crest Beach Hotel celebrates Mother’s Day

Sea Crest’s executive chef, Daniel Kenney, has crafted a menu that is sure to be a hit for this special day. Mother’s Day Brunch will be served Sunday, May 11, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The menu is priced at $45 per person and $19 for children 12 and under, plus tax.

The extensive menu will showcase Sea Crest specialties:

• Made to order Belgian waffles with fresh strawberries,whipped cream and warm maple syrup
• Scrambled farm-fresh eggs with chives and sweet tomatoes
• Cinnamon and vanilla scented French toast with berries and maple syrup
• Grilled East Coast salmon with Maine lobster sauce and asparagus tips
• Exotic mushroom ravioli with aged Madeira wine and local goat cheese

Don’t forget dessert!

A selection of freshly baked desserts will end the meal on a sweet note.
