The World Almanac 2016
America’s Best Selling Reference Book
In a day and age when everything comes to us electronically, I still reach for a reference guide and in my eyes there is only one, The World Almanac. The World Almanac has been a part of American history since 1868, providing readers with more facts than any other general reference tool.
I remember using my grandparent’s copy of it many years ago, it was so much easier than referencing an encyclopedia or making a trip to the library (yes, I’m that old). This by far is the easiest reference tool to reach for when helping the kids with their school projects, it is a ‘go to’ mom’s lifesaver for me.
My Son Put It Best
When my son picked up The World Almanac 2016 he immediately started paging through it, but his comment was the best, “Mom, this is cool. This book is like Google in your hands.” I couldn’t agree more. I keep this on hand for reference for kids school projects, crossword puzzles and historical reference.
