Match Game – Dollar Store Craft- DIY
Cats, Witches, Pumpkins and More!
Using adhesive back foam stickers from Dollar Tree you can make a family friendly seasonal game. Since the stickers are only $1 you can make a different game for each and every season.
This craft is great for little helping hands to make with you. Even the youngest helpers can peel and stick, making this a great DIY to share with the kids and play with the whole family.
Supplies for Dollar Store Craft – Halloween Matching Game
- White card stock paper – or any color you choose to use as a background for your stickers
- Circle punch – we used one from Paper Shapers
- Bag of seasonal Foam Stickers – we got ours at Dollar Tree in the Halloween area
Steps
- Start by selecting matching stickers from the bag so that you will know how many circles to punch out. TIP – Based on the colors of your stickers you might want a different background other than white – for example – there were ghosts and white skulls – I didn’t use either because they wouldn’t show up on the white.
- Punch out as many circles as you need. TIP – If you don’t have a circle punch, you can cut simple squares from paper too!
- Start peeling! Peel the back of the stickers off, exposing the adhesive and place each sticker onto a circle. Tip – There were enough pumpkin stickers in the bag that we chose to put the on the top side of matching game circle. We weren’t planning on doing this and it really added to the seasonal look and feel.
Time To Play!
- Set up all your matching circles face down on a sheet of paper or table.
- Alternating players, turn over 2 playing pieces at a time.
- If your pair matches, you can remove them, if not, turn them back over until your next turn (if playing with 2 or more players) or if playing against yourself, try again!
