Look at what my sister gave me – some blossoms in a bottle!
(Doesn’t the chipped paint on my house shingles make it look even more vintage? Haha)
It is a simple ‘up-cycled’ jelly jar with some wire wrapped around the mouth, there is a ‘loop’ made of wire to hang it on the back and beads strung on the ‘extra’ wire. She snipped a few iris from her garden and some broad hosta leaves – simple and beautiful!
Here is the one hanging on the her back porch – the bottle is from a ‘chilled coffee drink’ – just the right size!
I hope this post gives you some inspiration to enjoy those beautiful blooms from your garden or local farm.
Enjoy!
