Charmingfare Farm, Candia New Hampshire
Make a day of it!
- TIP – First off, plan to stay for the day. Pack a lunch, cooler, sunblock, bug spray and whatnot and plan to be there and really enjoy being outside with your family. There are covered luncheon areas, plenty of hand washing stations and portable bathrooms throughout the farm/zoo experience.
- Next: Things you won’t find – loud piped in music, expensive fast food, or amusement park rides.
- Here is what you WILL find: a beautiful working farm with amazing animals – the ones you expect and a ton of ones that you don’t!
- Rides – yes, they have them but they are tractor tours, horse drawn wagons and horse and pony rides!
While we were there our family took advantage of ALL of them – and some several times!
All the EXTRAS are included with your price of admission – no extra hidden costs, so you don’t necessarily need to say no to that 3rd ride on the horse.
Now back to the animals – here is a map with all the exhibits – so many animals – and our trip included so many new additions to the farm – there were animal babies everywhere from little goslings, chicks, sheep, and goats to a little reindeer!
We spent a good part of the morning in the various barns and the afternoon walking around the exhibits tucked in the woods. We couldn’t get enough of the wolf – he was larger than I ever imagined him to be.
Admission to the park is FREE for children under 23 months of age or younger. Admission is $19 per person, which includes all the rides. Like them on Facebook and see promotions and special offers.
