Smart Anatomy
Our kids have fallen in love with Alex, the voice of Smart Anatomy. Our kids (ages 5 through 14) all gave this interactive educational toy a try and really enjoyed it.
Mom’s Lifesavers was provided with Smart Anatomy to facilitate this review. All the opinions expressed are our own.
Right out of the box this was a hit with our kids. The youngest started taking the magnetic pieces (almost like a puzzle) off of the clear frame.
One side contains bones and the other organs and tissue. Our 5 year old loved putting the pieces together AND taking them apart, repeatedly.
Our 9 and 10 year old went right for the pen. The pen is wireless and comes with batteries in it – this educational toy is ready right out of the box – now that is a mom’s lifesaver. There is an optical sensor in it that reads ‘invisible dots’ that are on every body part which triggers an audio response. The sound comes right out of the pen or headphones can be used.
Our youngest enjoyed learning the names of the body parts with Smart Anatomy – check out our short video.
Our 14 year old was drawn out of his room with all the fun the younger kids were having. Right away he went to quiz mode to test his anatomy knowledge – it is safe to say he did better than I – even I was learning from Alex.
There’s More with Smart Anatomy
Also included is a 16 page booklet and a double-sided full color poster that has more information on Smart Anatomy. The product is very intuitive and easy to navigate. We were playing games like True or False and Memory in minutes.
The booklet included contains information about major body systems, nutrition and food categories. The Smart Anatomy poster lists all the names of the major body parts, our kids found this really helpful when they were answering quiz questions.
