Looking for pumpkin carving ideas that are more creepy than cute? Check these out.
No Power Tools Required!
It is super easy to make an infested looking pumpkin. We have two kinds to make your skin crawl; a mice infested, and worm infested version. Both are pretty icky! (Which means your tweens and teens will love them.)
The gory side of Halloween isn’t really my thing but with our teens and tweens in the house we needed to step up our game. Our answer, adding some creepy, crawly creatures to our seasonal gourds.
Carving Supplies
Keeping it simple, we used items you likely have around the house. (Not including the rubber mice or worms – haha)
- Stretchy Creatures – we used mice and worms that we found at DollarTree
- Melon Ball Kitchen Tool
- Paring Knife (with a pointed tip)
- Pencil
