Celebrating the Day of the Dead with Sugar Skulls
Mom’s Lifesavers had the opportunity from Zulka sugar to make our very own sugar skulls. Not only was this a great lesson on Mexican culture and celebrations but we were able to use Zulka Morena sugar which is made from freshly-harvested sugar cane in Mexico and is an unrefined, Non-GMO Project verified sugar. Not only is it perfect for making and molding sugar skulls, it is ideal for baking and everyday cooking – perfect for homes and families that making the switch to unrefined, Non-GMO Project Verified products.
Zulka Sugar has created a Facebook page that is perfect for every season – including recipes and sugar crafts – check it out!
